WEBSITE DESIGN: Volleyball Ireland

Key Achievements

Following Vine Digital’s website redesign project, Volleyball Ireland saw a 16x increase in organic traffic over the six month period following the launch. The client described Vine Digital’s web design and development services as “nothing short of exceptional.”

“Cillian and the team have been outstanding in all areas of building a website from scratch. Their knowledge and recommendations will see our website flourish without a doubt.” — Volleyball Ireland

BACKGROUND

Volleyball Ireland is the governing body of volleyball in the Republic of Ireland. Today, over 10,000 people are involved in volleyball within Ireland, either through schools, clubs or as coaches, officials and volunteers. The purpose of Volleyball Ireland is to actively create an environment where volleyball can flourish. Vine Digital began working with Volleyball Ireland in March 2020.

THE CHALLENGE

Prior to engaging Vine Digital, Volleyball Ireland used various third-party providers to handle their competition data such as league tables. Our task was to create one application to house all of the association’s competitions, events and information. As Volleyball Ireland had also recently renewed their brand identity, they were eager for the website to integrate those assets and reflect their identity.

OUR APPROACH

Using the new brand identity provided by Volleyball Ireland, we:

  1. Created a web design mockup for the page templates, and designed reusable website components.
  2. Began development and design work for over 600 pages in total.
  3. Configured a competition management system, for use across multiple competition types.

TAKEAWAYS

Volleyball Ireland was delighted with their new website, in line with their new brand identity. Organic visibility and traffic increased from an average of 6-12 clicks per day to a peak of 104 clicks per day*.
